Who We Are
HorseShowJudges.com was created by Equine Ventures, Inc. with the goal of matching horse show judges with horse show managers.
David J, Denniston, President of Equine Ventures, Inc. and a professional horse show judge himself, noticed that the process of show managers making countless phone calls to potential judges was both time consuming and frustrating.
“I often receive phone messages from show managers asking me to judge a horse show on a particular date. Upon calling them back, many would thank me for returning their call and tell me of the countless phone calls they had already made – most resulting in judges regretfully declining due to schedule conflicts or other obligations. Instantly, I thought, in this day and age of technology there has to be a better, more efficient way to match horse show managers with horse show judges.”
In addition to being a professional horse show judge, Dave also teaches young people to become horse show judges. Once Dave’s students have “graduated” from his training program, they move away and desperately want to start judging horse shows in their area, but don’t know how to start. They just don’t know how to get their name “out there.” Often times, the state or area in which they now reside doesn’t have or maintain a horse show judges list. Therefore, how are great new and qualified judges to be matched with show managers?
